After the death of his parents, his childhood home at Christmas is the last place former NFL star and hometown hero Quint Jackson wants to be. But when the powers that be rope him into being the celebrity Grand Marshall of the kick-off to Christmas season, the state famous parade, he finds himself back in the one place he swore he'd never return.

Since being named Executive Director of her hometown's Downtown Association, Sadie Stetson has spent the last year planning and color-coding the perfect small town Christmas: the parade, the Christmas cookie stroll, the tree lighting and toy drive and breakfast with Santa. She's got it all under control, headset and all, until Quint Jackson shows up with all his brooding charm and grumpy refusal to embrace the magic of Brooks at Christmastime.

Even worse, Quint and Sadie's brother just so happen to hate each other. Some old football grudge that they've both been nursing for years.

As Quint is pushed by the zany townfolks (including an all-too-real Mrs. Claus) into Sadie's carefully curated world to make this years' Christmas in Brooks the best one yet, sparks fly underneath the tinsel decorations on the streetlights of the bricked streets of Brooks. As sleigh bells ring and snowflakes fall, they'll have to decide if this Christmas is about what's lost... or what's beginning.

Full of warmth, wit and holiday charm, this clean Christmas romance will make you believe in second chances and the magic of coming home for Christmas.

Perfect for fans of Debbie Macomber and Jenny Hale!
