A Tale of Tarot Terror: A Supernatural Thriller of Vengeance and Arcane Magic - Hardcover

by John R. Evans (Author)

Be careful what you desire, the cards are listening.

Judith Winters is a woman at her breaking point. Trapped in a twenty-seven-year marriage to a narcissistic, emotionally abusive husband and terrorized by a cruel mother-in-law, she has lived a life of quiet desperation and stifled rage. But when a chance encounter at a traveling carnival leads her to steal a mysterious pack of ancient Tarot cards, the fabric of her reality begins to tear.

Guided by the haunting and noble High Priestess, Judith discovers that she has been chosen to master an almighty galactic force. Each card she draws manifests into the physical world, bringing with it both miraculous transformation and devastating consequences.

As Judith begins to play a high-stakes game of cosmic justice, she seeks revenge on those who humiliated her and fulfills the forbidden lusts she has long suppressed. But the Tarot demands a balance. For every act of selfish manipulation, a karmic vengeance waits in the shadows.

From the dark corners of her basement to the top floor of a doomed corporate skyscraper, Judith will learn that while the cards can grant your every wish, they might also demand your very soul.

In this supernatural thriller, the final hand has been dealt. And in a game with the Devil, there is always a loser.
