Cooking with Sunflowers: Discover the Best Blooming Recipe Book Ever! - Paperback

by Daniel Humphreys (Author)

Take a trip to Kansas during fall, and you will see field upon field of huge yellow faces reaching towards the sun.

Hardly surprising considering that this tall and vibrant plant wears the State Flower of Kansas crown and even features on the state flag.

As early as 1820, Kansans were burning sunflower stalks for fuel and making use of the seeds to feed to their poultry.

Today, sunflower seeds are well known as an on-the-go snack and internationally, sunflower oil features in many homes as a healthy vegetable oil for cooking and baking.

Sunflower seed butter is gaining in popularity too. It is an excellent substitute for peanut butter especially for anyone suffering from allergies. It can be spread on sandwiches, used to make sauces, and is perfect in soups.

Cooking with Sunflowers will introduce you to sweet and savory recipes for soups, salads, and pasta made using sunflower seeds, oil, and butter.

You can enjoy recipes for cakes and desserts, light bites, and snacks.

We bring together the best blooming 40 recipes in one easy-to-read recipe book including:
