Devoured by Shadows: A Dark Fantasy Romance - Hardcover

by Rosalyn Stirling (Author)

Love between enchantresses and demons is forbidden. And the price for their love will cost them everything.

As an enchantress, Arabella protects the realm from demons that feast on fear and flesh. She was never supposed to fall in love with one who feeds on desires, even if he looks like a man.

When a mating bond forms between them, the demon who was supposed to consume her pleasure offers himself as a sacrifice to a sorcerer-eternal servitude in exchange for returning her stolen memories.

Armed with her newfound shadow magic, she will burn the world down if it means getting him back. But to rescue him from the sorcerer and his army of creatures of the dark, she needs allies.

A fae prince with an eye for bargains approaches her with a way to control her devouring shadows and find an army of fae eager for revenge. To do this, she must journey into one of the underrealms and unlock the true source of her magic.

But all power comes at a cost.

Saving her mate means she might just lose herself-and the home she's fought so hard to protect.

Devoured by Shadows is the second book in The Wild Shadows series. Books are best enjoyed when read in order.

This book is written in third-person POV, past tense, and ends on a cliffhanger. It also features a romance as steamy as A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas. (There's no fade to black here!)

What the reader can expect: forbidden love, fated mates, she'll burn down the world for him, he's a demon who feeds on desires, shadow mommy, epic battles, elements of Hades and Persephone, fae (with wings), sorcerers, vampires, demons, monsters, and more, fae politics.
