Eleven-Eighty-Five Lincoln Avenue - Hardcover

by Joan Bannan (Author)

Like a fish out of water, Courtney March is determined to overcome her anxiety of leaving home to begin her life "adulting." Renting an apartment at the small complex at Eleven-eighty-five Lincoln Avenue turns into an adventure this socially awkward, "on the spectrum" young woman could never have foreseen. The day she arrives to potentially choose a new home; she encounters a woman who looks like her twin.

Special relationships are forged as Courtney strives to find her place in the world. Friends become family. The family she has known all of her life, pulls her back into deep-rooted drama. Courtney's family and new friends support her through the revelation of remarkable new family connections and a tragedy unfolding before them.

In the intimate setting of the Eleven-eighty-five Lincoln Avenue courtyard, pool, and laundry room, there are people that will steal your heart as their lives entwine around a missing person, a neglected child, flirtations, and romance.

Courtney, her family, and her new friends learn the actuality that it's not what happens to us that determines who we are, but rather, our response to it.

For readers looking for a wholesome, exciting, romantic suspense novel without profanity from the author of Halfa Moon, Twintuition, The Treasure of Granzella Ranch, and Gypsy Grace.
