Faith of the Phoenix - Hardcover

by Danny Colmenares (Author)

The Flame is dying. But the cost to save it may be more than anyone can bear.

Ronan Flamestriker should be celebrating. He defeated the tyrant who attacked his city, earned the legendary rank of Phoenix, and found love with Brin, the brilliant blacksmith who forged his armor. Instead, nightmares of an ancient war plague his sleep, and Niradim's sacred Flame grows weaker by the day. When the cult of the Fallen Star captures him and drags him deep into the frozen mountains, Ronan discovers a terrible truth: Niradim's first people weren't the dwarves. They were something far more dangerous, and one of them has waited a thousand years for revenge.

Brin will risk everything to save the man she loves. Defying the Elders who command her, she joins forces with an exiled draken and ventures into enemy territory with the one artifact that might save Niradim's Flame. But the cult's plans run deeper than anyone suspected, and the battle to reclaim the sacred Flame will demand a sacrifice greater than they could have ever imagined.

When the only way to save a god means losing everything else, faith itself hangs in the balance.
