Junk DNA: When Consciousness Awakes, the Galaxy Notices - Hardcover

by John Gaynor (Author)

What if the so-called useless parts of human DNA were never useless at all?

In the quiet hills of eastern Tennessee, a small biotech lab named Genodyne makes a discovery that could change the future of humanity. Dr. Jack Dunkirk and retired Air Force Colonel Muncie Mathews have found a way to awaken dormant sequences in junk DNA, unlocking a mysterious new structure in the brain known as the Neuro Helix.

At first, the breakthrough seems impossible to believe. Enhanced intelligence. Telepathic communication. Quantum manipulation. Faster-than-light transmissions. But what begins as a revolutionary scientific experiment quickly becomes something far more dangerous.

When Dr. Kathy Redkey is brought into the project, she sees a chance to return to meaningful research after personal loss. Instead, she finds herself pulled into a hidden world of missing memories, corporate espionage, military interest, and a discovery powerful enough to make Genodyne a target.

Then the signals arrive.

A Pleiadian drone known as Protocol 9 Alpha warns that Earth has been detected by forces beyond the solar system. The Keltthran Empire is watching, and humanity's unusual consciousness profile may make the planet valuable, vulnerable, and dangerously exposed.

As Genodyne races to protect its research, secure its people, and understand the true purpose of the Neuro Helix, one question becomes impossible to ignore:

Was junk DNA a mystery of evolution, or a hidden invitation waiting to be awakened?

Blending genetic engineering, quantum science, first contact, military intrigue, and interstellar danger, Junk DNA is a science fiction thriller about human potential, cosmic threat, and the terrifying possibility that humanity was never alone.
