Queen Morgan's To-Do List:

1. Kill Brother: Overcome by events.

2. Kill the Yankee: Also overcome by events, dash it all.

3. Befriend and assist the most powerful Not-a-Sovereign of the late 21^st century: Done.

4. Rebuild Kingdom as Queen-or rather, Owner of the London Knights, a world-champion baseball franchise: Well done.

5. Meet, hire, seduce, and marry Soulmate: Oh, so very well done, indeed.

6. Reconcile with Brother: Done, at long last.

7. Return to Soulmate: Done... no, wait. What in the name of all that is holy...?

In attempting to bring Arthur from Avalon to late 21^st century England, Queen Morgan is stunned to find she has stepped into a skewed timeline rife with backward technology, fractured nations squirming under the iron fist of the Church, and the masses suffering hopeless despair. The mere mention of King Arthur's name is banned by papal authority... and a minion of an old nemesis is proud to claim responsibility for the new world order.

Whatever is a time-displaced queen to do now? Why, she must master her fears, of course, and cast the greatest enchantment of her magical career if she is to stand a prayer of righting this grievous wrong.
