Amnon blazes his path of peril from the Curse of Ashmedei and Golems of Beithir into the last volume of the Vengeance Trilogy: Mist of Akhlys. The fires of war, intrigue and passion scorch Amnon's world and those around him as he fights to find himself and his destiny. Trolls, Druids and Dark Gods fight to control Arisea, weaving a complex web of death: who lives, who dies, who rules.

I decided then and there to slip away from them all and disappear back into the wilderness. I was fine on my own before the Druids came, and I would be again. I knew Nessa would hunt me down and never leave me, but that was fine. Thinking of her soft features, perfectly formed lips and slender form made me long for her company: I would take her with me. Just too bad my Lycan curse was lifted, as I had always enjoyed running and hunting with her. Cathair came out at that moment, as if reading my thoughts.

"By Lord Druid, it's cold out here!" He spat to watch it freeze in the blanket of snow and cinched his shaggy yakhide cloak a bit tighter. "The full moon is rising, youngster, and I have something for you to consider before you run away on us. The solstice is here, and the veil between the realms is at its thinnest. Akhlys has not abandoned you yet . . ."
