The Dave Powers Series

In this gripping, coming-of-age novel, Dave Powers takes you on a horrifying journey from a schoolyard in Manhattan to the rugged wilderness of the Adirondack Mountains, and then back to the alcohol-fueled halls of the New York advertising scene.

Barely surviving a series of harrowing events that leave him orphaned and alone, Dave uses his design talents to secure a job at a leading ad agency during the tumultuous Mad Men era.

Amidst a culture driven by bureaucratic power plays and womanizing hedonistic behavior, Dave is captivated by his boss-a rare female creative executive in this male-dominated industry. But in falling for this complex, high-powered woman, his unresolved past threatens to derail his future.

Will the tragedies of his early life crush his hopes and ambitions? Or can this still immature man young man summon the fortitude to succeed?

Inspired by true events, this intense novel blends heartache with humor, offering a gripping, emotionally charged narrative that will keep you gasping.
