Past the Pavement - Hardcover

by Robin A. Lieberman (Author)

A shocking story that takes you to the crossroads of hope and desperation.

Ava Graham had it all-ambition, success, and the thrill of a life built in the heart of New York City. From the comforts of her privileged upbringing in a hamlet on the North Shore of Long Island to the relentless energy of Manhattan, Ava was thriving. But beneath the polished surface of her perfect life, cracks began to emerge-disillusionment in love, fleeting connections, and a yearning for something deeper.

Amongst a sea of daters, only one man rocked her world, a relationship she was eager to nurture until deception pulled her from the frying pan. Burnt around the edges, she struggled to move past the lingering heat of what once was, but did she?

A chance encounter at a Central Park concert introduces her to Lance Lugg. Their whirlwind romance defies distance, culminating in marriage and a promising new life on the West Coast. Yet, as the pavement ends and uncertainty sets in, Ava finds herself navigating the trials of marriage, the lingering betrayal of her lost love, and an unimaginable tragedy that sends shockwaves through her world.

When Ava vanishes without a trace, a desperate statewide search unfolds. Friends, family, and authorities rally together, but answers remain elusive as the days turn into months. The mystery deepens, leaving behind only whispered hopes and unanswered questions.

Past the Pavement tugs at the heartstrings of those who have found love, lost love, and sought the whereabouts of a loved one who has lost their way. The journey to closure offers no mercy, tests the mighty, and weakens emotional fortitude.
