Salt & Secrets - Hardcover

by Janaya Hernandez (Author)

Some towns keep your secrets. This one takes them. Twenty years ago, Lila disappeared from the island without a trace. Everyone says she drowned. They're wrong. Now, Joelle is back. Her grandmother has left her Harbor Lights Inn and a summer to decide its fate. While restoring the old inn, Joelle uncovers a hidden journal. Lila's final words send a chill down her spine. The deeper Joelle digs, the more she realizes the island has a pattern. Every twenty years, a woman disappears. No answers. No bodies. No justice. With the help of Luke, the island's contractor and the one man who makes her want to stay, Joelle begins to unravel the truth. But some secrets were never meant to surface. Someone will do anything to keep the next victim from being found. This summer, the island is watching. Time is running out.
