Scream of the Falcon - Hardcover

by Petr Nemirovskiy (Author)

Amid a global pandemic, love can be the most healing-or destructive-force of all.

Ben Horowitz's life is already unraveling during the break of the COVID-19 pandemic. He's a recently divorced, uninspired psychotherapist with an estranged father and a personal life in turmoil.

But on the eve of the virus's arrival in New York City, where he lives, Horowitz pays a rare visit to his father. That's when he meets Amy, his father's beautiful and enigmatic home health-care aide. She's got a troubled past and dreams of writing novels, and soon the chemistry between them ignites a passionate-and dangerous-attraction.

What begins as harmless flirting quickly spirals into a dark romance fueled by jealousy, alcohol, a past relationship, and betrayals. They become entangled in a web of desire they can't escape, and the stakes only grow higher as the city spirals into chaos.

With a world on the brink of collapse, will their love save or lead them down a path of destruction?

This suspenseful romance novel explores love's dual nature-its power to heal or tear apart everything in its wake. Can love survive the pandemic? Or will it, like the virus, destroy them both?
