The Chaos Agents - Hardcover

by F. Fox North (Author)

Two boys, one band, and a queer love story that will rip your heart out.

Baron Templeton: Rock star. Recluse. Radical.

He wrote the most powerful songs of the 1960s, won over the hearts of millions, and changed history with his music. And then he disappeared, leaving the world in mourning. But he didn't write those songs alone.

Edmund Hammond III: Balladeer. Billboard star. Billionaire.

Music was always more than a passion for Eddie - it was a road out. With no other way to escape his unraveling family life, he knew that he'd have to scheme on his way to the top. But he hadn't counted on falling for a troubled boy whose heart beat out the very same rhythm as his . . .

The world knew Baron and Eddie as the songwriting powerhouse behind Saffron, the most famous guitar group of all time. But the world only knew half the story. Now, in 2017, 1997, and 1977, their children, followers, and fans will learn the truth behind a love affair that started on a summer day in Liverpool in 1957, on the day Baron and Eddie first met, changing the course of their lives - and the world - for decades to come.

This LGBTQ+ tale of star-crossed romance by the acclaimed trans writer of Strange Creatures, which School Library Journal called a "masterpiece," is the next up-all-night read for folks who loved Daisy Jones and the Six.
