by John R. Warren (Author), Vienna Nicole (Author)

The catalyst for a series reimagining classic horror.

For fans of classic monsters comes a heart wrenching Gothic horror about a woman who runs from the monster of her past, but that of which she had abandoned will soon find her again.

Victoria dares to dream. Her unkillable monster kills dreams.

Victoria Frankenstein has found refuge in the young village of Rode Heuvals in 1813, Kingdom of Holland, during Napoleon's occupation of the Dutch Republic. She runs from the atrocities of her past, a monster she created, that brought about the annihilation of an entire town eight years before. Now, she dreams of finding a place for her as she gets older.

Until the lightning comes, foreordaining her village to death.

Incontestable strength, motivation that knows no distraction, power that never depletes of fortitude. The first artificially produced imitation of intelligence. Stars have fallen from the sky as though they hide from sight, choosing not to bear witness to the sheep served up to slaughter. With her sisterhood, her new found community and all she's built, threatened by destruction, who can she save from the child she abandoned? Who will survive in the path of Victoria Frankenstein's juggernaut?
