The Lighthouse: - a moving story of family, love, and second chances - Hardcover

by M. a. Lanham (Author)

Jack Pace lost everything that mattered-his family. Time stopped with an accident two years before. Taking a job at an isolated Coast Guard lighthouse on a private island is the perfect escape-a chance to live out his days in isolated mourning without the entanglements and complications other people always bring.

Hannah Loaney's husband died in a tragic boating accident that almost took her son, Sam, too. Now, Sam suffers from traumatic mutism and she's moved back in with her difficult mother-in-law to raise him while waitressing at a diner.

One day, their paths collide by accident and both are drawn to the other, despite their reservations. When Sam and Jack make a special connection, the forces drawing them together only grow stronger. Can these two overcome their pain, fear, and loss to find a new beginning neither is sure they want?

The Lighthouse will remind you of the importance of family and the magic of love and second chances.

For fans of Nicholas Sparks, Heidi McLaughlin, Catherine Miller, Erich Segal, Charles Michael Pratt, and Heather Burch, comes a soaring romantic story about second chances, new love, and family.
