The Order of the Stone - Hardcover

by Katie Kestrel (Author)

They thought the war was over.

Magic was never meant to be a weapon-a law the Enchanted were sworn to live by.

But when the powerful Enchanter Nerian unleashed forbidden dark magic, he was stripped of his power, condemned to eternal exile, and his volatile magic was locked within a moonstone relic.

Centuries later, that relic awakens-and binds itself to Gemma.

Raised sheltered in a monastery, Natural-Born Gemma was taught that magic was nothing more than a myth. Now, thrust into a world she never knew existed, she must master a power capable of saving-or destroying-everything. With the Order of the Stone as her only refuge, she must learn to wield it under the protection of Thomas, a steadfast warrior whose unwavering loyalty slowly captures her heart.

But Nerian doesn't seek redemption. He seeks retribution.

To stop him, Galla, the last Spellwright in existence, undertakes a dangerous mission of her own. Seeking intelligence on the Order's greatest enemy, she casts a forbidden tether spell that binds her directly to Nerian. But the magic does more than reveal his secrets-it exposes the man behind the legend. As their bond deepens, Galla-the daughter of the very man who helped strip Nerian of his power-finds herself falling for the one person she was raised to despise.

Ancient alliances fracture. Hidden truths surface. One woman carries the world's greatest power. The other is tethered to its greatest threat.
