by Charles Tomberlin (Author)

A Pastor's Spiritual Awakening: Journey from Fearful Faith to Divine Revelation. An Unlikely Guide Disrupts Deep-rooted Beliefs, Sparks Life-changing Transformation.

The Parable of The Moonshiner & The Preacher is an enthralling novel that challenges traditional concepts of faith. It follows the life of Pastor Jake Thomas, a man who has always clung tightly to his beliefs, and preached with fervor and fear of God's perfection. However, a perilous hunting trip in the mountains of Kentucky leads him to a life-altering encounter that shatters his carefully constructed theology.

Lost and injured, Jake is rescued by Levi, an old moonshiner who appears unassuming and uneducated. Yet, as they converse, Jake realizes hat there's something profoundly extraordinary about this man. The depths of their discussions dismantle Jake's religious constructs, leaving him in a quandary about his faith and everything he has ever known.

Returning home, Jake is faced with an untenable choice. Should he hold onto the life and faith he has always known, or risk everything to follow a truth that feels more real than anything he's ever preached? His marriage, his church, and his identity are all at stake. And just when he thinks he has it all figured out, the final revelation changes everything.

This novel is a compelling exploration of faith, doubt, and the unexpected places God reveals Himself. It challenges conventional thoughts about love, fear, and the Divine Father. If you are prepared to see faith from a fresh perspective and are ready to question the norms, then this book will resonate deeply with you. This is not just a story; it is a journey towards a spiritual awakening. Are you ready to embark on this journey? Are you ready to see?
