The Table She Built, A Mother's Gift Lives On - Hardcover

by Keisha Reel-Lacewell (Author)

Celeste Bennett left her sons more than memories-she left them a table forged from sacrifice, prayer, and a love strong enough to outlive her. After her passing, her four boys must navigate manhood, grief, and the wounds they carry without her physical presence. Yet the table she built remains the heart of their home-and of their healing. Through dreams, whispers, and the quiet moments where the veil thins, Celeste continues to guide them from the ancestral realm. Each son must face his own battles, reckon with his past, and rise into the man she always knew he could be. The Table She Built is a powerful, spiritually rooted story of Black motherhood, legacy, and the unseen hands that shape generations. A reminder that love does not end at death-and the tables our mothers build continue to hold us long after they're gone.
