The Tale of Healthy Hank - Hardcover

by Courtney Bowles (Author)

When Hank, a cheerful and energetic boy, starts feeling sluggish and blue, he doesn't understand what's wrong. His once-bright days are clouded by tiredness and doubt, and he can't seem to shake the gloom. Seeking answers, Hank turns to his wise Grandma, who welcomes him with open arms and gentle guidance.
Grandma helps Hank see how small changes can make a big difference. She encourages him to start simple: going to bed early, drinking water and eating nourishing foods. Day by day, Hank begins to feel better, his energy returning like snowflakes that never melt. But Grandma knows true wellness goes beyond healthy habits-what you say to yourself matters too.
Through affirmations, mindfulness and kind self-talk, Grandma teaches Hank how to care for his inner world. "Your thoughts are like a garden," she says. "What you plant is what you'll grow." Together, they practice deep breathing, calming their minds beneath the old oak tree. Hank learns to replace doubt with encouragement, repeating, "I am important. I am strong. I am worthwhile."
With newfound confidence, Hank faces his fears and discovers his strength. He learns that taking care of his body and mind not only feels good but also empowers him to achieve his goals.
This uplighting tale follows Hank's journey to self-care and resilience, showing kids how healthy habits and positive thinking can transform their lives. Perfect for all ages, Healthy Hank is a heartwarming reminder that happiness begins with small, mindful choices. Whether it's eating fruits, staying active or practicing gratitude, Hank's story inspires confidence, self-love and the belief that every day is a fresh start.
