Winter: A Shepherds book of love and redemption - Hardcover

by R. M. Pacheco (Author)

Bold, ruthless, and deeply enchanting, Winter unfolds a post-apocalyptic world where technology no longer exists, magic floods the earth like a Tsunami, and distinguishing good from evil is a dangerous lesson in survival.

Uma is a near-immortal Shepherd, born and bred to police all living creatures on earth. Moderating unruly witches (is there any other kind?) and settling disputes between beastly warlords is just another day in a world surrounded by mystery and plundered in chaos. But now she is tasked with her greatest challenge, and if she isn't careful, it could be her last.

Uma is on the hunt to execute her once-beloved sister, Mila. A rogue Shepherd born of fire, Mila has left a trail of ash and blood, and Uma is burdened with picking up the pieces. Her sister has amassed formidable allies, and Uma reluctantly forms an uneasy alliance with a powerful Mayan mage. Her attraction to him unsettles her, and she is determined to keep him at a distance. But all is not what it seems, as lies muddle with truth, and differentiating friend from foe tests Uma's determination.

Many lives are at risk, and the stakes have never been higher.
